AI has no place in creative pursuits

as a 'tool' for 'creation' 

AI has done more destruction than benefit humanity. 

It is a well known, thoroughly documented fact

Data centers steal water and power from communities. 

The answer is not legislation and regulation.

Regardless of improving efficiency or better image quality, 

That is not the issue at hand. 

AI should be used to 

Benefit humanity through medical research and education. 

Not a shortcut for grifters.

Our interest has always been to put creativity at the forefront of our audience.

Art generated by AI will only cheapen human creations. 

It steals work and profits off it. 

This is a call for creative pursuits to no longer run like tech companies.

Most people who support AI are lazy or want a shortcut. 

Learn the skill

Pay for someone to do it

Stop diminishing the value of our craft.

Value artists and what they bring.

Such anti-human leeches should be hung publically.

The worst piece of human art, which is done with intent and creativity, will always outshine the "greatest" creation that AI can produce.

"AI is just a tool"

This is a fundamental misunderstanding of logic, culture and ramifcations of such a tool. it is an appeal to ignorance. the only reason the argument appears to work on a surface level is because it is such a generalizing statement without context.

"GenAI increases productivity"

It only changes where you spend your time. AI requires an intense level of editting, fact checking and debugging. 

"It democratizes access to skills"
False sense of expertise, no ability to denote flaws. Skill = Understanding, not a text prompt. 

"AI will create more jobs than it destroys"

Perhaps longterm? new jobs will require skills not available to displaced workers, job polarisation is very real. 

"its inevitable, we should embrace it"

Strong man Argument. LOL. Completely ignores the rabbithole of what a good adoption looks like, which is not where we are at now.
